As always!! But starting from the beginning. We had planned to visit our homeland and meet our relatives, beloved, friends, brothers, … and just see Germany and Switzerland again. Next to the list with 647 people to visit during this 5 weeks, we had other things to do like:

- getting married

- organizing spare parts for Emma

- finishing the organization for our visit to Iran (Carnet de Passage)

- ...

From Kutaissi in Georgia we had a direct flight to Memmingen, where we landed after 4 hours of flight. Susanne and Stefan, the mother and brother of Johannes picked us up on the airport and we were all happy to see each other again. While we were driving back home, we had a lot to talk about. And at home, Wolf, the father of Johannes, was waiting with a good, German dinner and the evening finished with stories and surprises.

Our program already started the following day. Checking all the things we already ordered back in Georgia and then we went to the post office, the city hall, the building centre... After that we had to go to the Swiss embassy in Stuttgart, for checking all our datas for the marriage.

After six days, Theres said good bye to Stuttgart and went together with Johannes to Schaffhausen. After some hours in the train and a nice walk through the autumnal Schaffhausen, we were standing in front of Theres parental home – all were happy to see each other and the time went by. Johannes visited many friends in Stuttgart and Theres did the same in Schaffhausen. In the third week, we made a small tour together in Switzerland, visiting friends in Chur and in the Safiental, another visit in Memmingen and friends in Winterthur and Zurich were on the program.

And then it became serious – the marriage!! After long preparations and discussion with the authority, everything went well. We had a small, unforgettable marriage with our families and marriage witnesses. We would like to thank again everybody, who spent the day with us!! As well a huge thank you for the ones, who organized all for us, Markus and his wife from the winery Agnee and to Miss Auckenthaler and her Team for the wonderful evening in her restaurant.

A short comment to the night guard of Schaffhausen. The two, well fed oxes are not forgotten, just Johannes is not specialized in oxes, so it takes him more time to organize them. The two oxes will arrive!!

The time back home passed very fast. We visited friends and spent time with our families and soon it was time to get ready for new adventures, exploring new countries, cultures, people, customs...
To all who welcomed us so hearty, thanks for the time we spent together. We are looking forward seeing you somewhere on our trip and if not, back home. It's a pity, that we could not visit all of you, but we will see you somewhen in the future.
